Discover How to Help Your Hair Grow Faster the Natural Way

Having long and silky shiny hair is every girl's dream. The problem is this cannot be achieved overnight. Getting long and shiny hair is not easy. It takes a lot of effort, proper hair care and patience. You know it is a slow process but there are natural ways on how to help your hair grow faster.

• If you see some breakage or dead ends, have them trimmed to a salon professional. Hairstylists suggest that you get hair trims every eight weeks to keep your hair in tiptop shape. In addition, this will give an impression that your hair is long. However, regarding the schedule of trimming, it still depends how fast your hair grows. Be careful not to trim often because you may lose the length that has grown since the last trim. Moreover, it will not be a help on growing your hair faster.

• Use a conditioner and strengthening shampoo in washing your hair but do not do this every day to maintain the natural oil your hair has. While shampooing, massage your scalp, using your fingers in circular motion. This helps in the circulation of the blood that carries important nutrients to hair follicles. You also need to massage your scalp 5 to 10 minutes daily.

• Refrain from styling your hair too often. Lessen the times that you blow dry, use straight iron and curling irons or anything involving pulling your hair from the root because this will contribute to hair damage and won't do anything good. You can use a blow dry if needed but not more than 5 minutes to avoid hair breakage.

• When you brush your hair, do it gently, remove tangled hairs using a wide toothed comb. Do your best to avoid unnecessary combing or brushing. When you brush, hold your hair on one hand while the brush is on the other, this is to avoid pulling your hair from the root. It is also advisable to brush before shower because this will lessen the possibility of your hair being tangled during washing.

• Maintain a well-balanced diet by eating healthy foods rich in vitamin B12, iron, calcium, and zinc. These nutrients will come in handy on how to help your hair grow faster. Fresh egg, fish, and cheese are samples of food you can take that will promote rapid hair growth. Folic acid is also good but should not be taken that often because it might damage some parts of your body.
