Chinese Birth Calendar and Chinese Birth Chart

When a woman finds out she is pregnant, it is the beginning of one of the most exciting times in her life. She is growing a child inside of her, and will give life to a living, breathing human being. There is not much more in life that holds that type of excitement. When a woman finds out she is pregnant, after her initial period of excitement, she will often wonder the sex of her baby. Most women do want to know the gender of their unborn child for many different reasons.

During a woman's pregnancy, she is most likely going to want to get things prepared for her new bundle of joy. She will want to do things like get the nursery together, purchase baby clothes, and stuff like this. When performing these tasks, it is much easier if you know whether or not you should prepare for a boy or a girl. While there are unisex themes and clothes that an expectant mother can choose, most women prefer the gender-appropriate outfits and themes. Most mothers will want to put their new little girls in pink and frilly dresses, and outfit their boys in blue or clothes intended for little boys.

There are a few methods of helping pregnant women to determine the gender of their unborn child. One method they use is enlisting the aid of a Chinese birth chart or a Chinese birth calendar. This method was developed about 700 years ago, and has been used by many women worldwide. While some women will swear by a Chinese birth chart or Chinese birth calendar to determine the sex of an unborn child, other women prefer more traditional methods to determine their baby's gender.

During almost every pregnancy, the doctor will administer an ultrasound to monitor the development of the unborn child. When an ultrasound is performed at the right time, the gender of an unborn baby can be conclusively determined. If the baby is a boy, the doctor will see boy parts and if the baby is a girl, he will see girl parts. Many women believe an ultrasound is more accurate than any other method of gender identification.

While it is not a necessity to know the gender of your unborn child, many women find it to be helpful. If you know the sex of your unborn child, you can safely purchase gender specific items while you are waiting for your bundle of joy to be born.

The Truth About Lowe's and Toxic Chinese Drywall

Building a home or remodeling are both very expensive and most home owners tend to look at the cheapest product as well as availability. Because there was a large building boom between 2004 and 2008 and also natural disasters, such as hurricanes in 2006, some home owners purchased Chinese drywall.

Why the panic? Some homeowners that put Chinese drywall in their walls have found that it caused corrosion problems and some health problems as well. If you remodeled, built or bought a new home during this time period you may want to learn some facts.

Lowes Build

The first thing to know about Chinese drywall is that in humid areas it was found that it emitted toxic fumes that smelt like rotten eggs. It also caused problems with pipes in the walls. Piping found in air conditioning units and other appliances had corrosion problems that were directly linked to the fumes. Some residents also had some associated health problems. Many people found that the fumes caused respiratory and sinus problems. Because of these health related issues some people actually moved.

It was found that over 540 million pounds of Chinese drywall was imported to the US. However, as far as Lowes, they claim that there was none sold at their stores. Lowes called all of their suppliers when the problem was first discovered and their suppliers claim that they never received any contaminated drywall from China. Lowes claims that if you bought drywall from them, then there is no need to worry.

As you can see Chinese drywall has become a very large problem and there are many lawsuits in the works. Insurance companies and manufacturers are fighting over who's to blame--and who gets the bill. Unfortunately, as it usually happens in cases like this, the litigation could go on for years while thousands of families suffer from the effects of this toxic drywall. Lawsuits have been filed in Alabama, Louisiana, and other southern states. If you live in these areas you may want to have your homes inspected before problems occur.

Chinese Calendar For Gender - Fact Or Fiction?

The Chinese calendar for gender has been used for around seven thousand years for naturally predicting the gender of an unborn child.

Discovered over 700 years ago by a scientist, in tomb that was said to belong to Chinese nobles, the original Chinese gender prediction calendar now sits proudly at the Beijing institute of science.

Boys were a preferred offspring in old Chinese tradition as they could work for their keep. Young men working in the fields was a common sight in China, as the country has always been heavily dependant on agriculture and farming. For this reason boys were also considered to be a 'blessing' on the family. The girls on the other hand would sit patiently at home draining family finances, and await for a proposal of marriage (often pre-arranged) So they were of course more of a burden!

When the males of the family were old enough, they could inherit the family business and any property that was handed down through the generations.

So it's hardly surprising that the Chinese favoured boys in the family, and developed a way of predicting the gender of unborn babies. Even to the extent that they could use the Chinese gender prediction chart, to plot exactly which month that conception should take place. This would ensure a baby would be born of the selected gender.

In today's modern world, an ultrasound scan can produce highly accurate results of the gender of a growing foetus. But is it any more accurate the traditional Chinese calendar for gender.

Chinese culture has very high faith in the Chinese calendar for gender, with some claiming that the method is as high as 90% accurate. On the other hand some people state the calendar is as useful as flipping a coin, with only a 50-50 chance of it actually being correct. So if you're hoping to discover the sex of the child you are carrying. Or if you want to pre-plan the gender of your next baby, I would look upon the Chinese gender prediction calendar as a little bit of fun.

There are of course scientific medical methods of gender selection. Although in some countries this illegal, as officials are stating that this will eventually lead to a huge imbalance in naturally occurring genders. In countries were these medical procedures are legal, some people simply can't afford the huge sums that clinics are charging for the this benefit.

Natural gender selection is another method of selecting the sex of your baby before conception. This works by preparing your body to conceive either a girl or a boy. Couple this with a little scientific knowledge about how your body works, and you may just have a winner. Although it must be noted that only one medical procedure can almost (around 99%) guarantee the sex of your baby, and this method costs a small fortune.
